Summer is the perfect time to answer these vital questions, gain new skills, and brush up on your technology know-how. At the Teq Summer Institute, you’ll have the opportunity to do all three, while creating meaningful, interactive lessons for the upcoming school year. In addition, our Instructional Technologists will help you link your lessons to state curriculum standards and develop scoring guides to measure student achievement. Classes are lead by educational technology leaders with extensive experience and proven track records for helping teachers effectively use technology in the classroom.

Participants will explore the many features of manipulating the Earth (zoom-in, zoom-out, pan, etc) as well as to how to navigate on an interactive whiteboard. Many features and layers of real-time information will be explored and integrated into lesson planning for the SMART classroom. Learn the basic operation of the SMART Table for immediate classroom use. You will explore all the SMART Table applications, and familiarize yourself with the teacher mode of the table. Teachers will learn to customize learning activities in the SMART Table Toolkit on their own computer, save the customizations to a USB storage device, and then sync the device to the SMART Table to apply the changes.
