We are continually training Marco Polo Super Trainers throughout all NYS Teacher Centers to deliver their trainings utilizing SMART Boards — they are successfully introducing teachers throughout the state to both Marco Polo content and SMART Boards.
July 7-10 and August 11-14 - LHRIC Summer SMART Board Training
In this four day certification workshop, participants will be introduced to collaborative features of the SMART Board interactive whiteboard and how they can be used to support a wide range of instructional frameworks and modes. Educators will have the skills and knowledge necessary to integrate the technology into their classroom by designing lessons that address today’s learners. While the tools used for this certification workshop are SMART Board specific, the skills are transferable to other interactive white board platforms. Visit the LHRIC website for more information.
August 18 - 22, 2008 - Eastern Suffolk BOCES Summer SMART Board Institute
The Summer SMART Board Institute is designed to introduce
the collaborative features of the SMART Board interactive
whiteboard and how they can be used to support a wide range of
instructional frameworks and models. It is intended to help
educators integrate the SMART Board into their classroom by
designing lessons that address the needs of today’s learner. All
modules include hands-on experiences and collaboration. All
participants that successfully complete the course will receive a
TeqSmart Certification.

April 21 - 25, 2008 - SMART Boards in Today's Classroom
In conjunction with the New York After-School Professional Development Program, Tequipment is pleased to offer “SMART Boards in Today’s Classroom.” Participants will be eligible to become TeqSmart Certified Users and may also choose to earn P-credits toward salary differentials. April 25, 2007 - 50 SMART Board Installations for Special Education Classrooms
We have finished delivering and setting up over 50 Rear Projection (2000i) SMART Boards for Special Education classrooms throughout NYC as part of their District 75 initiative
April 22, 2007 - SMART Boards & TeqSmart Certification
We have finished installing 23 more wall mounted solutions for PS101K in Brooklyn. This school has outfitted almost all of their instructional spaces with SMART Boards with NEC WT610e wall mounted projection systems. They are currently participating in professional development towards TeqSmart certification for their staff
