Staff Developer/Trainer
Summary: We are seeking dynamic teachers with a strong knowledge of classroom instruction/practice and experience utilizing a variety of instructional technologies, including SMART products. Outside Sales Support Specialist
Locations:
- Westchester, NY
- Non-Public Schools/Corporate (location varies)
Summary: Working with the primary outside sales staff, the outside sales support specialist will focus heavily on the building of strong relationships and brand loyalty.
Job Description:
- Account management
- Data collection/analysis
- Product demonstrations
- Site visits
- Training events, and additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience (in the education market a plus)
- Classroom experience and/or knowledge of the K-12 education system a plus
- Familiarity with assigned territory
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Computer skills
The Field Sales Support Specialist will:
- Create a greater presence in customer view through on-site product demonstrations
- Participation in conferences and trade shows
- Conducting school based training events for administrators
- Establish SMART Board user groups, and conduct walk-thru’s for equipment recommendations and decisions
- Utilize data within our SAP Database to target specific school districts for greater focus, as well as, create internal school networks to discuss and support each other
- Manage data within SAP related to each school including what equipment and training the school has
- Anticipate and discuss technology and professional development goals for the school year
- Identify key decision makers at each school/district

Technical Support
Summary: We are seeking dynamic individuals with a strong knowledge of tech support practices and procedures. Individuals must be detail-oriented and punctual.
Job Description:
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems by providing support to end users on a variety of issues.
- Answer incoming telephone calls, email and personnel requests from customers for technical support.
- Document all correspondence for each issue, follow up, track and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
- Test incoming equipment that is received from a Return.
- Process returns when needed for defective equipment.
- Answering incoming calls pertaining to tech and customer support-related issues
- Assist other departments when necessary
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in a related area
- Minimum of 2 years experience in customer support/technical support
- Must have knowledge of Windows OS, Mac a plus.
- Experience with SAP a plus
- Excellent in-person and phone communication skills
- Flexible, and able to work under pressure in an evolving, fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through ability, and initiative
- Ability to exercise good judgment, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with customers, other employees and managers
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
